  2. What is it?
  3. Pitch adjusts the length of a sound which changes the pitch.

  5. How to use it
  6. Selecting Pitch from the menu will bring up a dialog box with the following three parameters, Pitch by percent, Length in samples, and Length in seconds.  The default parameters will not change the pitch.

  8. The Pitch by percent field can have a range of .0001 to 65535.9999%.  Adjusting the pitch by 200% would raise the pitch one octave.  Adjusting the pitch by 50% would lower the pitch one octave.

  10. The Length in samples field can have a range of 0 to 99999999 samples.

  12. The Length in seconds field can have a range of 0 to 9999.9999 seconds.

  14. The Presets popup menu has the choices of raising or lowering the pitch up to 1 octave in half steps (1/12 of an octave).
